Building a Mental Health Hub in Central Utah: Sandstone Psychology – Nephi Clinic

nephi

At Sandstone Psychology, our mission has always been rooted in expanding access to meaningful, high-quality mental health care—especially in communities that are too often overlooked. Our Nephi clinic represents that mission in action. It’s more than just an office—it’s becoming a central hub for integrated, community-centered care across Central Utah.

Integrated Care with Local Medical Providers

One of the most important aspects of our Nephi clinic is our close collaboration with providers at Central Valley Medical Center (CVMC). We believe strongly that mental health is health, and the best outcomes occur when care is coordinated.

By working alongside physicians and medical practitioners, we are able to:

  • Provide more comprehensive and informed care
  • Support patients with both medical and mental health needs
  • Improve communication between providers
  • Reduce gaps in treatment and follow-up

This integrated approach allows us to better serve individuals who may otherwise struggle to navigate fragmented systems.

Serving Communities Across Central Utah

While located in Nephi, this clinic is designed to support a wide geographic region. We regularly serve individuals and families from:

  • Ephraim
  • Manti
  • Delta
  • Mount Pleasant
  • Moroni

For many in these areas, access to consistent, specialized mental health care has historically been limited. Our goal is for the Nephi clinic to continue growing into a reliable, long-term resource—a place where individuals and families can find support close to home.

Meet the Clinicians

At the heart of this clinic is a team of dedicated, compassionate clinicians who are deeply committed to the communities they serve:

  • Ashton Sealy
  • Kaitlyn Allen
  • Stormie Norton
  • Jocelyn Walker

Each brings a unique skillset and perspective, but they share a common focus: providing thoughtful, evidence-based care while building genuine relationships with clients and families. Their work reflects what we value most—meeting people where they are and helping them move forward.

A Growing Hub for Care and Connection

We see the Nephi clinic as more than a point of service—it is a growing hub for Central Utah. As we continue to expand services, strengthen partnerships, and invest in training, our hope is to:

  • Increase access to care in rural communities
  • Support local providers through collaboration
  • Create continuity of care across medical and mental health systems
  • Build lasting relationships within the communities we serve

Looking Ahead

The need for accessible, integrated mental health care in rural Utah is real—and growing. At Sandstone Psychology, we are committed to meeting that need with intention, collaboration, and care.

If you or someone you know is in Central Utah and looking for support, our Nephi clinic is here to help—now and into the future.
