Arley Coelho,
MFT Student
Background:
Arley is a Marriage and Family Therapy intern. Arley was born and raised on the island of Maui in Hawai'i. Following her passion for learning, Arley moved to Utah to further her education. In her free time, Arley enjoys being in the water, cooking new recipes, lifting weights, and listening to podcasts. More than anything, she loves and appreciates genuine connection and conversation with friends and family.
Education and Work Experience:
Arley earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Utah Valley University. She has worked with adolescents in the Native Hawaiian community to overcome barriers to education. Arley is now pursuing a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy a Utah Valle University.
Therapy Approach:
Arley's work is guided by genuine empathy and compassionate curiosity. She believes that therapy is a place for healing, growth, and connection. She is passionate about helping people through a collaborative approach that is safe and nonjudgmental. Arley uses an integration of several evidence-based approaches.
