Cade Tueller,
MFT Student
Background:
Cade Tueller is a Marriage and Family Therapy intern who was born and raised in the Provo/Orem area. He is one of 7 children and loves spending time with his family. In his free time Cade loves being in nature, hiking, playing sports, reading fantasy books, listening to podcasts, and playing the guitar.
Education and Work Experience:
Cade received his bachelor’s degree in the Behavioral Sciences from Utah Valley University. He has worked with adolescents and young adults in residential treatment settings for the last 10 years. During that time, he has helped clients who are experiencing ADHD, Autism, OCD, ODD, Borderline Personality Disorder, and slow processing speeds. Cade is now pursuing a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Utah Valley University.
Therapy Approach:
Cade believes therapy should be a place of safety, empowerment, hope, humor, and genuine connection. He is passionate about helping individuals who feel powerless, trapped, or alone in their current circumstances. He uses several evidence-based therapy models including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, and the Gottman Method.
