Associate CSW

Background:

I was born and raised in Herriman and moved to Provo two years ago. It was here where I stumbled across this helping path and a passion for social work. I find purpose through human connection and supporting people the way I was once supported. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, painting, ceramics, and spending time in nature. I love classic rock and expressing myself creatively.

Education and Work Experience:

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Social Work and am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Social Work. I have experience working in a treatment center supporting adolescent girls facing suicidal ideation, self-harming behaviors, and a variety of mental health and behavioral challenges. I am passionate about creating a safe space where clients can feel understood, accepted, and hopeful in their healing journey.

Therapy Approach:

My approach emphasizes understanding each client and their unique experiences. I believe in the inherent worth of every individual and strive to help clients recognize their own value. I focus on creating a safe, supportive space where clients can show up as their genuine and authentic selves, allowing for self-discovery, healing, and acceptance. Through a collaborative and holistic approach, I believe meaningful growth and cognitive restructuring can occur. I value incorporating mindfulness and acceptance while helping clients explore deep-rooted traumas and beliefs that may contribute to unhelpful patterns. Through this, I am to empower clients to move toward genuine self-expression that will lead to a more fulfilling life.
