Jamie Willmore,
Associate CSW
Background:
Jamie grew up in the Ogden area and has spent the past several years in Cache Valley attending Utah State University, where she earned her degrees and met her spouse. She enjoys spending time outdoors and can often be found hiking, backpacking, kayaking, rock climbing, or fishing. When she's not outside, she enjoys reading, crocheting, and scrapbooking.
Education and Work Experience:
Jamie earned her Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Psychology from Utah State University before continuing her education to complete a Master of Social Work. Through her work in both school and treatment settings, she discovered a passion for supporting teens as they navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, substance use, and eating disorders. In addition to her work with adolescents, Jamie has spent several years supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She values the opportunity to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and is committed to helping each person feel understood, supported, and empowered.
Therapy Approach:
Jamie's approach to therapy is client centered and strength-based. She draws from a collaborative approach and views each individual as the expert of their experience. She works alongside clients to identify their unique strengths, build resilience, and create meaningful change. Jamie strives to provide a safe and accepting space where you can feel seen and valued. Whether you are facing a difficult season, working through past experiences, or seeking personal growth, she is dedicated to supporting you on your journey toward healing and well-being.
