Background:
I am a compassionate mental health provider with experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across outpatient and residential treatment settings. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma, OCD, and personality disorders. I am passionate about providing individualized, evidence-based care in a supportive and collaborative environment. My approach focuses on helping clients and families feel understood, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change in their daily lives.
Education and Work Experience:
I completed my doctorate in nursing specializing in psychiatric mental health at The University of Utah with a focus on caring for children, adolescents, and adults across a variety of clinical settings. My professional experience includes outpatient psychiatry, residential treatment, inpatient, and community mental health care, where I have worked closely with individuals and families managing a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns. Through these experiences, I have developed a strong foundation in psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and collaborative treatment planning while emphasizing compassionate, evidence-based care.
Therapy Approach:
My approach to care is warm and collaborative. I strive to create a supportive environment where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and comfortable being themselves. I believe in individualized, evidence-based treatment that helps clients build confidence, develop healthy coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
