Background:

Shelli grew up in a small town in Idaho where there were more cows than people. She enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, cycling, and catching up with friends. She loes shrimp and thinks crab is just okay. Shelli loves opportunities to walk with people through challenges and help them find growth, peace and healing through their experiences.

Education and Work Experience:

Shelli received a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University-Idaho in social work. She went on to attend Boise State to receive a Master of Social Work degree. Having a love for working with individuals with disabilities, she additionally attended University of North Texas to become a certified rehabilitation counselor and has worked in state and educational disability service settings. Her experience includes working with children, young adults and adults.

Therapy Approach:

Shelli strives to provide an environment of warmth and safety, coupled with humor and client engagement. She incorporates a mix of CBT and Motivational Interviewing along with other supportive practices.
