Taylor is a masters level marriage and family therapy intern. She was born and raised in Utah. She is the youngest of two children, a wife, and a loving dog mom. Taylor and her husband recently moved to Spanish Fork and have loved hiking and exploring the trails up Spanish Fork Canyon with their dog. Taylor grew up dancing competitively and enjoys dancing in her spare time. Taylor also loves to spend time with family and friends. Her hobbies include reading, playing the piano, spending time outside, and playing board games.

Education and Work Experience:

Taylor received her bachelors degree in psychology from Utah Valley University. For the entirety of her collegiate career, she served as an ambassador for the university on the Utah Valley Dance Team. She served as the president of the team in her senior year and learned about leadership and advocating for others. Once her collegiate career came to an end, she worked at Telos Residential treatment Center with adolescents as a mentor and lead supervisor. In 2023, Taylor was accepted into the Marriage and Family Therapy Master's Program at Utah Valley University. During her time in the program, Taylor has worked as a therapist in the UVU community clinic with adult individuals, married couples, premarital couples, and adolescent individuals and their families.

Therapy Approach:

Taylor takes a client-centered approach to help clients reach their ultimate potential. Taylor engages in the therapy process with the belief that the connection and relationship between the client and the therapist is the key to success in the therapeutic process. She also believes that lasting-change is created through incorporating a systemic lens. Taylor utilizes a range of therapeutic models such as Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman method, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
