Education and Work Experience:

Taylor received her bachelors degree in psychology from Utah Valley University. For the entirety of her collegiate career, she served as an ambassador for the university on the Utah Valley Dance Team. She served as the president of the team in her senior year and learned about leadership and advocating for others. Once her collegiate career came to an end, she worked at Telos Residential treatment Center with adolescents as a mentor and lead supervisor. In 2023, Taylor was accepted into the Marriage and Family Therapy Master's Program at Utah Valley University. During her time in the program, Taylor has worked as a therapist in the UVU community clinic with adult individuals, married couples, premarital couples, and adolescent individuals and their families.

Therapy Approach:

She also believes that lasting-change is created through incorporating a systemic lens. Taylor utilizes a range of therapeutic models such as Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman method, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
