Bo McCullough,
LACMHC

Background:

Bo is a native of Portland Oregon and hales from a small suburb where he grew up surrounded by trees and green. He enjoys running, writing, reading, and spending quality time with his wife, Megan. If it’s outside, he has likely done it at least once (save for skydiving). He enjoys the creative process and loves to implement it into finding ways to help others feel more whole and empowered.

Education and Work Experience:

Bo graduated with a bachelor’s in psychology from Brigham Young University in 2020 and recently completed his master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling, at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions.

Therapy Approach:

Bo believes that healing and growth comes from authenticity, emotional vulnerability, accountability, healthy interpersonal relationships, and self-acceptance. He implements empirically established therapies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Theory (ACT), along with Existential, and Family System approaches.
