Jeff Robison,
ACMHC
Background:
Jeff was born and raised in Fillmore, UT. He grew up on a small farm and could be found either playing a sport or bucking bales with his dad and brothers. He is happily married with 3 kids! He loves coaching basketball, Disneyland, any type of games (literally any), movies, musicals, and being in nature. Jeff brings a small town feel to the therapy room.
Education and Work Experience:
Jeff earned a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in Spanish and Psychology. He received a dual master's degree from Rocky Mountain University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling. He has worked primarily in the education setting working as a special education counselor and at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. He also works with athletes in individual and group settings to improve performance on the field/court. Jeff also has experience in psychological testing evaluating for ADHD, OCD, Anxiety, Depression, Personality Disorders, and Autism.
Therapy Approach:
Jeff uses humor and compassion to connect with his clients. He views relationships as the key to healing and understanding. He also believes that the strengths clients already possess are the key to overall success and helps his clients recognize those strengths and bring them to the surface. Jeff works to meet clients on their level whether that's emotionally, or physically getting on the ground with them.
