Background:
Jenn grew up in a small casino town in Nevada. She is a wife and a mother to 5 children. Jenn loves nature, music, painting, and crocheting. She loves playing board and card games with her family and friends.
Education and Work Experience:
Jenn is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the State of Utah. In recent years, she has worked as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Ohio. She received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology and certificate in Criminology from the University of Utah and her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. She has worked in multiple residential treatment centers and as an in-home therapist.
Therapy Approach:
Jenn is committed to helping clients improve self-awareness, improve relationships, reduce trauma, and live a value-directed life. She believes that the therapeutic process is relationship centered. She believes that healing begins with feeling safe, accepted, and respected. She utilizes an integration of empirically supported treatments in her work (ACT, CBT, EMDR, DBT, Interpersonal, Play Therapy, TFCBT, and Family Systems).
